As a network manager, Violet gives you a benchmarked view of person-centered care competencies across your entire provider network — from a network-wide summary down to individual counties and providers. This article tours the My network section and its insights.
Open My network
Sign in to Violet and select My network in the left-hand navigation. The section contains:
- Overview — your network at a glance.
- Insights — Provider Benchmarks, Service areas, and Provider demographics.
- Education engagement — covered in a separate article.
The network Overview
The Overview combines Violet's proprietary benchmarks with claims analysis and self-reported provider data. Five headline metrics sit at the top:
- Provider organizations — organizations linked to your network, based on your roster.
- Violet Verified Organizations — organizations with an active Violet partnership that meet the verification criteria (at least 30% of clinical staff onboarded; of those, at least 40% reaching an Awareness Benchmark or higher).
- In-network providers — all clinical providers connected to your network, from your roster or third-party data.
- Providers with a Benchmark — providers with a Violet Benchmark, whether inferred through claims data or earned by completing a profile (Awareness, Proficiency, or Excellence).
- Providers on Violet — providers who have completed a Violet profile to be benchmarked.
Below the metrics you'll find the Provider Benchmarks chart (the percentage of in-network providers at Awareness or higher for each patient population, with a comparison to other providers in your same service areas), a Service areas preview of your top counties, Provider demographics for providers on Violet, and your top Provider organizations.
Click Export (top right) to download your Violet Verified Organization report as a CSV.
Provider Benchmarks insights
Go to Insights > Provider Benchmarks to drill into competencies across the network:
- Use the filters to narrow by State, Provider organization, Specialty, or Benchmark community — or limit to Organizations on Violet / Violet Verified Organizations.
- Review the summary tiles, including Violet Verified Providers — in-network providers who claimed their account, completed their profile, and reached an Awareness Benchmark or higher in at least one patient population.
- Expand the Provider organizations table to compare organizations side by side: provider counts, how many are on Violet, Verified Organization status, and Benchmark rates per community (BIPOC, LGBQ, TGNC, Neurodivergent, Rural, Veterans).
- Expand the Provider roster table to see every in-network provider and the Benchmarks they've earned.
Service areas: county-level performance
Go to Insights > Service areas to evaluate readiness to deliver person-centered care by geography:
- Search by city, state, county, or zip, and filter by provider organization, specialty, or community Benchmark.
- Use the View switcher to group results by State, City, County, or Zip.
- Each service area row shows in-network provider counts and Benchmark rates per patient population, with thumbs up/down indicators showing whether your network performs better or worse than other providers in the same area.
- Click Export to download the service-area report as a CSV.
If the Access to Person-Centered Care by Service Area heatmap is enabled for your network, you can also view a county-by-county map: pick a comparison type (your network vs. all local providers, or your network vs. the member diversity in your service area), a population, and a state, then click any county for its full profile. Counties with fewer than 20 in-network providers are shown hatched because results aren't statistically significant.
Provider demographics
Go to Insights > Provider demographics for aggregated REaL (Race, Ethnicity, and Language) and SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) analytics, based on what active providers voluntarily self-report on Violet: race & ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, care delivery languages, and additional identities. Data is aggregated to protect provider privacy, and you can filter by provider organization or specialty.
